February 17, 18, 19, 20, 1945 - Some of the roughest sea we have had since the Carribean.

June 29-July 3, 1944 - Uneventful. Sea pretty calm after Caribbean. Haven’t saw any land since Panama. We are copying FOX frequency on the radio; it is pretty fast.

June 20, 1944 - In the Caribbean water is pretty rough. I’ve been watching the swells most all day today too. I don’t think that I am going to get seasick, although I do feel a little weak watching the ships pitch and roll like a hog wallowing.
