Sept 8-9, 1944 - Maneuvers

Sept 5-6, 1944 - Went on maneuvers. Fired at Sleeve.

August 31, 1944 - Still at maneuvers with flag officer aboard. 20 year old birthday.

August 30, 1944 - On maneuvers again.

August 26, 1944 - On maneuvers again.

August 25, 1944 - Went out on maneuvers. We are on a voice circuit now and have to stay pretty busy. Our call is Sassafras.

May 24-June 4, 1944 - On maneuvers in St. Andrews Bay. We practice beaching and traveling in columns and everything. We also have a practice radio network-our call is "Alligator" and the base is "Waterboy". Picked up Lee from Richmond, Virginia, for radioman in place of Rene.
