June 5, 1944 - Left St. Andrews Bay, Fla. for Gulfport, Mississippi-to pick up our load to take across.

May 24-June 4, 1944 - On maneuvers in St. Andrews Bay. We practice beaching and traveling in columns and everything. We also have a practice radio network-our call is "Alligator" and the base is "Waterboy". Picked up Lee from Richmond, Virginia, for radioman in place of Rene.

May 23, 1944 - Arrived in St. Andrews Bay.
