June 7, 1944 - Still at Gulfport- got liberty and went ashore. It was a fairly nice town though nothing extra.

June 6, 1944 - Arrived at Gulfport and started loading up with pink salmon, asparagus and spinach. That tank deck really holds a load.

June 5, 1944 - Left St. Andrews Bay, Fla. for Gulfport, Mississippi-to pick up our load to take across.
