This WWII Journal chronicles the life of an USNR Radioman, my grandfather-in-law, on board the LST 740. The Journal includes dates from 4/20/1944 through 5/29/1945.
I just tried to post a comment but I'm not certain it got posted. Here goes again. I'm Ex Signalman 1/c that was on board LST 740. I was fortunate and did not get sick while in the navy. One older person on board heaved his false teath overboard soon after leaving New Orleans. I knew Earl quite well. We both worked up on the bridge.
