October 31, 1944 - LCT that we brought across the Pacific is here and tied up next to us and the crew came aboard for a friendly visit. They haven’t been in on any invasions yet. Went on Liberty.
This WWII Journal chronicles the life of an USNR Radioman, my grandfather-in-law, on board the LST 740. The Journal includes dates from 4/20/1944 through 5/29/1945.
