January 19, 1945 - Still trading with the natives. Some of the girls are not bad looking. Nearly all of the natives speak pretty good English.
This WWII Journal chronicles the life of an USNR Radioman, my grandfather-in-law, on board the LST 740. The Journal includes dates from 4/20/1944 through 5/29/1945.
